Goals:
1-0: Sashi finished off Khairul Zhafran's dribble run down the left flank early in the 1st half
1-1: Opps equalized wonderfully from outside the box that gave stand in GK Rahman no chance
1-2: A fluke shot that struck the crossbar and somehow snuck into goal for an unlikely lead
2-2: Fightback was on right from the start of the 2nd half. Huang was bundled from behind, and Rey (from Fate) scored the ensuing penalty
3-2: Fightback was deservedly complete when Hilmann (from Fate) does what he do best, striking another freekick goal to score the match winning goal

A whole host of chances went begging shockingly after we took the lead early on through Sashi's goal, and we could have easily been 6 or 7 goals up. Debutant Han Rong was clearly the driving force in midfield and will be an excellent addition from now on. However, the opponents took the wind out of sails to equalize with a wonderful goal and, with the momentum going in their favour, they scored to take a 2-1 lead. We continued to create chances but none came close to beating the GK with the defence decidedly competent but not unbeatable.

After the break, we raced out of the traps as the opponents sat back and were content to defend their lead. They looked dangerous with the long punts in our half of the pitch but Azmi, stand-in GK for the 2nd half, was not tested. Our efforts were handsomely and deservedly rewarded, although nervously with the clock winding down, when Rey's penalty and Hilmann's match-winning freekick goal secured a 3-2 victory.

It is now 4 wins in 6 games.

MOTM: Han Rong - impressive debut performance in the DM role, full of energy, always wants the ball and tracked back to defend.
