Goals:
1-0: Akim pen, converted after a handball in the box
1-1: opps pen, converted after ref awarded a soft one that gave opps real boost
1-2: an opp freekick that sailed over the wall into an unguarded part of the goal
2-2: Chung Hao (Yongsheng Tang), our MOTM ended a long scoring drought to head a fantastic goal from Ys excellent corner
3-2: Terence (James), our team Fate compatriots combined. Terence notched the winner with a left foot effort that squeezed in beneath gk reach.

1st half: We had the better of the opening half, and my pen opened the scoring. Opps got their confidence from the most controversial ref decision after Kevin Wun (team Fate) was harshly adjudged to have bundled an opp in the box after a throw in and a pen was awarded. Bobos guessed right but unable to save. Opp sensed blood and went ahead deservedly (despite their 1st goal and 1st shot too) with a fk that sailed over the wall. Our mid lost its plot and shape. It was truly an ugly side of us as we kept giving the ball back and the opps were utilizing their youth and pace to catch us on the backfoot. Sashi then had 2 glorious chances to score and Huang was almost clean through on goal as we finally stabilized.

2nd half: Opp started comfortably, repelling all that came their way and looking to hit on the counter as we kept giving the ball back to them. But we didn't give up. After I berated our players to keep ball and pass, we were finally finding our groove led by Ys in mid who was key in distribution, and that led to our best spell up till the final whistle. After Sashi spurned yet another chance, cometh the hour cometh the man. It was Huang who manfully dragged the score to 2-2 after he gloriously headed Ys corner. Sashi then headed just over the bar at the far post after another Ys corner, it was just not his day. There was a final sting in the tale when James hopeful punt into opp territory fell to Terence. Our speed demon brought the ball into the opp pen box and calmly but fortuitously scored as the gk should have done better to save. The final whistle blew and our comeback victory was complete!

MOTM: Huang, a truly inspired game. Ran himself hard in the 1st half on the right flank and scored with a great header in the 2nd that decidedly gave us impetus to snare the win.

Notable mention: Ernest, continuing his fine recent form. Ys, key distribution in the most crucial and best spell of the game. Ken too, who returned after a long absence to play a true winger role. Not forgetting too our Muslim players Azman and Bobos who played the entire game (I dint miss out anyone else I hope).

And of course our team Fate friends for giving us much needed support today. 3 wins in 4 games. An astonishing 14 goals scored and 4 goals conceded in 3 (minus the freak 3-6 loss last week). And we now indeed take a break!
